These earrings are handmade products, not machine-made. Each earring is traditionally cast, assembled, oxidised, then finished & polished by hand so that each may vary slightly in shape and size from that shown in the photo. The character rings are different sizes as they are in the movie. They are cast and finished separately and then inserted in the mouth and ears of the faces. To keep them mobile, it’s not possible to solder the ring join, and removal of the sprues and subsequent polishing can lead to a small variation in the shape, enhancing the product's handcrafted feel.
