From the Workbench to the West End: Our Jesus Christ Superstar Team Night
Small team, big night out—and some very special superstar memories!
The Licensed to Charm team recently swapped the workbench, laptops and order packing for a wonderful evening at Jesus Christ Superstar at The London Palladium.
Team nights out are a rare occurrence for us. As a small and extremely busy team, there is always another design to develop, approval to chase, order to prepare or campaign to launch. That made having the opportunity to pause and enjoy the show together feel even more special.
Seeing Our Jewellery at The London Palladium
The evening began with a very proud moment: seeing our officially licensed Jesus Christ Superstar jewellery collection displayed inside the theatre.
Created in collaboration with the Andrew Lloyd Webber team, the collection transforms imagery inspired by the legendary musical into distinctive jewellery and accessories, handmade in the UK by Licensed to Charm.
A huge amount of work happens before a licensed piece reaches its final home. Every design moves through concept development, sampling, approvals and production before it can be shared with fans. Seeing the finished collection displayed at The London Palladium was a genuine pinch-us moment for our little team.
A Rare Licensed to Charm Family Night Out
Maggie, James and family thoroughly enjoyed the performance and had a brilliant evening together. Tomiko was there too, although she is noticeably absent from the photographs because she was the one taking them all!
It was lovely to step away from the day-to-day whirlwind, celebrate what the team has created and experience the production that inspired the collection.
The show was spectacular, the setting was beautiful and the entire evening reminded us why creating jewellery for much-loved characters, stories and productions is so rewarding.
