Lace Stud Earrings (Sterling Silver)
Part of the new National Portrait Gallery jewellery collection. These unique and eye-catching stud earrings look stunning in Sterling Silver and feature an intricate lace design created using a laser etching process. The beautiful lace patterns inspire the design in the ruff Mary Herbert wore while being painted by Nicholas Hilliard in 1590. She was a writer and the sister of courtier, soldier and poet Sir Philip Sydney and his literary collaborator. Secured with a post-fitting and butterfly clasp, they are suitable for pierced ears only. Sold as a matching pair.
