Covid-19 Information

At Licensed To Charm the safety and well-being of our staff, customers and community are at the heart of our business. We're delighted to say that we've worked behind the scenes to implement enhanced hygiene to ensure our staff's safety. This has enabled us to continue working safely to dispatch your order. 

We hope our customers appreciate that this may mean that delivery times may take longer than usual due to our external courier. Please see our delivery partner's – Royal Mail – page for up to date information on how COVID-19 affects their service, and information for customers about the new process regarding signed-for deliveries.

We are working hard to continue to offer excellent service online and will continue to do so for as long as it is safe and possible.

Dispatch & Delivery Times

We aim to dispatch your item/s as soon as possible. Once an order has been placed, it's passed on to our packing and dispatch team to organise your order for delivery. We deliver all parcels via Royal Mail Tracked & Signed Delivery Service and provide tracking numbers with all orders. You will receive an email message which allows you to track your delivery. You will have the option to have your order either placed in a safe place or left with a neighbour. Any orders which are placed with pre-order items will be dispatched when all items are in-stock.

Free Standard Delivery (available on orders over £70)

  • Dispatched with Royal Mail Tracked48. (T&Cs here )
  • Delivery within 2-4 working days excluding the weekends once dispatched. Still, they can take up to 5 working days during busy periods & calendar holidays. (tracking information available) 
  • Select ‘FREE Standard Delivery’ when ordering on-line.
  • Orders placed before 1 pm will be dispatched the same day (Monday-Friday).
  • Orders for delivery within Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scotland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Scilly Isles, the Republic of Ireland may take longer, please allow 3 extra days. 

Standard Delivery 

  • Dispatched with Royal Mail Tracked.
  • Standard Delivery is £5.99 and delivered within 2-4 working days excluding the weekends once dispatched. Still, they can take up to 5 working days during busy periods & calendar holidays. (tracking information available) 
  • Select ‘UK Royal Mail Standard’ when ordering online.
  • Orders placed before 1 pm will be dispatched the same day (Monday-Friday).
  • Orders for delivery within Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scotland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Scilly Isles, the Republic of Ireland may take longer, please allow 3 extra days. 

Next Day Delivery UK

  • Dispatched with Royal Mail Special Delivery.
  • Next Day Delivery is £7.99 and is guaranteed to arrive by 1 pm on the next working day. (Due to Covid-19 now guaranteed to arrive by 9 pm)
  • Select ‘Next Day Delivery’ when ordering online.
  • Orders placed before 1 pm will be dispatched the same day (Monday-Friday). If ordered on Friday your order will arrive by the following Monday.
  • Orders placed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will usually be delivered on the following Tuesday.
  • Orders placed after 1 pm will be dispatched the following working day (tracking information available). For example to receive an order on a Tuesday please place your order on the Monday before 1 pm (BST). For Monday delivery order will need to be placed on Friday before 1 pm (BST). If your order is placed after 1 pm (BST), it will be dispatched the next working day.


Please note: UK Public Holidays will affect delivery dates. We are unable to deliver on a Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Orders placed after the relevant cut off time will be treated, for the purposes of delivery, as having been placed the next working day.

 

International Delivery - We use Royal Mail International Mail services.

  • International Delivery is £10.60 - £12.60 (We ship worldwide, prices and delivery times vary depending on destination)
  • Orders will be dispatched/delivered within 5-10 days working days once dispatched (tracking information available).
  • All items will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked and/or signed (dependant on what each country offers), to ensure a secure, quick and reliable service.
  • Delivery times will vary, based on the destination, and we can provide a tracking number.
  • Please ensure that the correct address details are provided on your order in compliance with the recipient country's postal requirements - incorrect information can result in packages being returned to us in the UK and we are unable to re-send without an additional postal fee. 


* Please note that delivery times are dependent on the stock availability of your item. Estimated delivery times will be shown clearly at the checkout. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details. 

Your parcel will need a signature on arrival, so, unfortunately, we cannot send to an unmanned PO BOX.

Australia, New Zealand and South Africa

  • Orders will be dispatched/delivered within 7-10 days working days once dispatched (tracking information available).
  • All items will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked and/or signed (dependant on what each country offers), to ensure a secure, quick and reliable service.
  • Delivery times will vary, based on the destination, and we can provide a tracking number.
  • Please ensure that the correct address details are provided on your order in compliance with the recipient country's postal requirements - incorrect information can result in packages being returned to us in the UK and we are unable to re-send without an additional postal fee. 

* Please note that delivery times are dependent on the stock availability of your item. Estimated delivery times will be shown clearly at the checkout. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details. 

Please note: if attempts have been made to deliver your item and subsequently is returned to us, you will be liable for a re-delivery charge of the value stated above. If you'd rather collect from our Battersea boutique, then please select this option at checkout. 

 

European Countries/Switzerland

Unfortunately Licensed To Charm are not registered for Value Added Tax in Europe/Switzerland and items shipped to Switzerland and Countries in Europe may be subject to excise duty and Value Added Tax. In some cases, when the mail service is used, the customer is considered an importer and is obliged to pay the relevant tariffs. These are levied by the Swiss Mail Service when the shipment is delivered. You will find further details on the websites of the Swiss Customs Authorities and European countries.

The costs of the value-added tax should nevertheless not be confused with the carriage charges paid by the sender when the consignment is posted.

The prices charged on our site are in UK GBP £ Sterling. If you are using an international card or bank account to pay for your goods, the exact price you will pay depends on your bank's exchange rate at the time of ordering. Please speak to them for further information.

If your order is returned to us because the courier or postal service could not complete the delivery to you for whatever reason, then you will be responsible for the repeat delivery costs.


Lost/Delayed Post

We choose the most reliable and economical postal service to ensure your packages arrive quickly and securely. Occasionally, for reasons out of our control, post can be either delayed or missing in action. If you think your order may be delayed/lost, we will do all we can to help. Please let us know if you have not received your parcel within 10 days of dispatch for UK orders. For non-UK order, please wait for at least 2 weeks before contacting us.

Our 1 Year Guarantee

All Licensed to Charm jewellery comes with a one-year warranty from the original purchase date. Any jewellery returned to us under guarantee must include proof of purchase, email or receipt, to be valid.

The Licensed to Charm Guarantee is valid for re-plating 18ct gold vermeil items and repairing damaged or manufacturing faults. This guarantee is subject to the return of the item and inspection by our silversmiths; it may not be valid if found to be caused by customer fault and is not valid on lost items that cannot be verified.

Licensed to Charm may repair or replace items under guarantee depending on the piece of jewellery and repair required. For further information, please contact us at [email protected]


Returns Policy

We understand you might have needed a little time to see if your new jewellery is perfect for you. If it isn't quite right you can send it back to us for either a refund or an exchange. Please note that we cannot accept earrings back due to hygiene reasons. All we ask is that you return it in its original and unspoilt condition together with your order summary within 28 days, by post. We reserve the right to refuse to exchange or refund items that are not returned within 28 days of delivery. Items bought online are returned at your own expense.

  • Items must be in resaleable condition, e.g. tags still attached & with proof of purchase.
  • You will receive a full refund for any items returned, unfortunately, refunds are not free of charge and we will not refund any shipping charges paid to deliver these items but we are working on this.

In interests of hygiene and for your protection we do not accept returns of, or refunds on, pierced earrings or jewellery sets containing earrings unless the items are of unsatisfactory quality or unfit for purpose. No refund or exchange is given on gift cards.

Remember to get a proof of postage receipt at the post office. We will not refund charges incurred by you from private carriers. Postal returns can take up to 10 days to reach us but once we've got it, we promise to process your order within 24 hours. We will refund your payment within 30 days.
