Licensed to Charm jewellery is ‘traditional with a twist’, combining the intricacy of handmade sterling silver jewellery with a touch of playfulness, fun and nostalgia.

Our Founder & Creative Director, Maggie Calmels, launched Licensed to Charm in 2018 after many years within global product development and innovation. Licensed to Charm combines Maggie’s passion and love of intricate and unique jewellery with a fondness for nostalgic brands.

Maggie and the team focus on four main characteristics which drive and inspire the ranges including:

Creativity: Turning the brands we hold dear into delicate and beautiful jewellery that can be worn for any occasion and become that become treasured keepsakes and mementos.

Craftsmanship: Ensuring that every piece is made to last with the high-quality materials and here in the UK by the best craftsman.

Our Handmade Jewellery

We are proud to commit to designing and handmaking all of our jewellery in the UK using the finest materials.

Our main jewellery collections are made using 925 Sterling Silver and we also have exclusive ranges available in gold-plated finishes including matte and polished.

Our Process

We work with the brands themselves and their original artwork, sketches, animations and ideas to create our designs. These are first turned into high quality renders which are then cast by one of our trusted partners in sterling silver to ensure long lasting craftsmanship.

From here, our London based workshop hand-finishes every piece, from cleaning the castings to carefully soldering elements together, polishing and quality checking, all before they reach you.

Our Personal Guarantee

We guarantee that every single piece of Licensed to Charm jewellery has been created with the brands themselves to ensure true authenticity. We accept no shortcuts and every design is officially licensed and approved by the brand. We also guarantee the quality of all of our jewellery, by using high quality materials, a meticulous design process and by working with the best craftsman. Every piece is also covered by our one year guarantee.

Our Battersea Boutique

You can find every one of our designs here in London, where the pieces are hand-finished. Our store is located in London’s beautiful Battersea area, next to the well-known Northcote Road, a beautiful spot for a touch of shopping and also next to the leafy Clapham Common.
